The brainchild of founder Eloise Monaghan in 2006, Honey Bridette has announced it will continue to expand from its origins in Australia in the United States and United Kingdom markets.
United States market will continue to be online only at this time, but the new platform offers an enhanced customer experience thanks to improved navigation, more product offerings, increased ease of returns and faster (sometimes free) delivery.
The UK market will increase retail locations to 40 by the end of 2018. The opening in London’s Covent Garden of Honey Birditte marked the first international retail store for the brand. Other currently open stores are located in Leeds’ Victoria Gate and Westfield White City. The new openings are targeting Westfield Stratford, Leeds, Newcastle, and Liverpool. Additional premium locations in Europe are also under discussion.
As Australia’s first sensuality boutique, Honey Birdette currently has 55 retail stores in Australia. As a premium brand, Honey Birdette offers a wide array of high quality lingerie, including teddies, chemise, robes, toys, novelties, fetish ware, latex and sexy stockings.
At retail locations, guests are treated to a luxury experience by staff clothed in Honey Birdette products. The primary colors the brands offered are black, white and red and aim to make each customer feel fabulous in the product. Customers are invited to have the full sensory experience by enjoying the feel of the clothing prior to buying.
Even in the online-only market, Honey Birdette has proved to be highly competitive, and has seen an increase in sales of 374% in the United States in the last 12 months. US customers can be confident in their size selection thanks to an easy to read guide to converting sizes from UK, US and Australia sizes as well as a measurement chart; in store financing is also available.
